HY5 was founded in 2021 by Markus and Patrick to replace disposable gloves in the bakery trade. Inspired by the idea of ​​making sustainability suitable for everyday use, we develop long-lasting, high-quality alternatives - starting with our cotton sales glove.Our goal? To conserve resources, make work easier and show appreciation for the craft. With HY5, we are shaping the future of the bakery trade - step by step and always with a clear focus on ecological, social and practical solutions.We believe that sustainability must work, inspire and make things better. What is HY5 suitable for?

HY5 is designed for gripping dry baked goods (bread, rolls,
pretzels etc.). Even with slightly fatty baked goods (e.g. pepper pretzels)
HY5 can be used.

What is HY5 made of?

HY5 is made of 100% cotton. This means that the washing label, the yarn and the additions are also made of cotton.

Is HY5 food safe?

Yes. The food safety according to 2004/1935/EC has been independently tested and confirmed by TÜV.

Is HY5 skin-friendly?

Yes. HY5 is free of harmful substances, which prevents allergies, skin reactions and overreactions.

Is HY5 washable?

Yes. HY5 is made of 100% cotton and is washable at 60°C. Dry cleaning F is also possible.

Does HY5 shrink when washed?

No. HY5 has no shrinkage and does not shrink when washed (60°C recommended).

How many HY5 does our sales staff need?

We recommend at least 2 HY5 and one yo-yo per salesperson.
